I love to cook. More importantly, I love to bake :). I have recipes on scraps throughout my kitchen, that have been marked and altered til their barely recognizable. Why spend so much time in the kitchen? Its simple really. The best times in my family are sitting around the table together enjoying a meal. And when my kids are grown, they wont want to come home to see my sparkling windows, but they'll always crave my homemade rolls :)

A "healthy" effort
Ive found in my adventures in cooking that I tend to lean towards fatty, comfort food. I suppose this is one reason for my current weight issues, so we're making a few much needed dietary improvements :). Of course, I cant give up my yummy food so I will just add to it. My goal is to make 3 healthy meals a week. Some of these recipes I will get from other websites, some I will come up with on my own, but I will leave the good ones here. With, of course, where they came from :) credit where credit is due!!
